About this Episode

Every Democratic candidate is running against the 2nd Amendment and the industry that supplies not just Americans but law enforcement and our military with firearms.

As we celebrate Labor Day we see local governments partnering with unions to subvert the Supreme Court's Janus ruling.

Clinics are choosing to charge for services and cut operations and staff instead of complying with the Trump Administration's new ruling prohibiting clinics from referring women to abortion clinics.

Forgiveness: Matthew 18:33-35
So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.

Either we forgive those who have wronged us, even our enemies - or we risk having our own sins unforgiven by God. Pretty tough stuff, but God has a plan for us!

  • 'When We Forgive Others, We Find Freedom with God' — Jesus said, if “you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14).
  • Beto O'Rourke: 'America Has More Guns Than Human Beings' — O’Rourke did not mention the 2012 Congressional Research Service report showing that as private gun ownership expanded between 1993 to 2009, “firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide” plummeted.
  • This Labor Day, Unions Are Undermining Workers' Free Speech — Today, Americans enjoy a day off of work to celebrate Labor Day, a holiday commemorating the organized labor movement. Unions did indeed secure important rights for American workers, including the idea of a weekend including Saturday and Sunday. Yet organized labor is horrifically corrupt today. Workers who refuse to join a union because they disagree with the union's political stance were forced to pay fees to the union, anyway — until the Supreme Court defended workers' free speech last year. Now, unions and their political allies are fighting to prevent workers from leaving the unions and from opting out of paying fees.
  • Family planning clinics watch their safety nets vanish - POLITICO — ome health clinics that quit the federal family planning program over Trump anti-abortion policies are cutting staff, charging for services that had been free and making other austerity moves to avert a major hollowing out of reproductive health care for poor women.
