Born and raised in the South, Amanda Head’s strong conservative background is highly evident in both her professional and personal life. A Birmingham, Alabama native, she’s lived in Los Angeles since graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University. In addition to her business degree, Amanda acquired her minor in Applied Music (voice.) Amanda was the first freshman ever to become Miss Auburn University, where she advocated for music as a form of therapy in schools for students with learning disabilities and in hospitals and nursing homes as therapy for the elderly.
Upon graduating with her Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University, Amanda moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. Amanda is a trained classical singer and has performed in such venues as the world-renowned Hollywood Bowl, Ford Amphitheater and in Austin, Texas at SXSW Music Festival. Additionally, Amanda was the lead singer of an electro-pop duo whose first single charted at #36 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40. Her duo toured nationally and found notoriety for their singles “Tear Me Down” and “Strip Me Bare.” From 2006 to 2016, Amanda was bound to various music contracts which prevented her from speaking publicly about her political positions. After a great deal of consideration, in January of 2016, Amanda decided to step away from the entertainment industry to use her voice in a more impactful way – in conservative politics.
