• 'Zombie Eating': 88% Of Adults Dine While Staring At A Screen, Survey Finds — The survey, commissioned by Pretzel Crisps, aimed to shed some light on American eating habits. The results indicate that Americans are so glued to their screens, they rarely stop staring even to eat. In fact, the average U.S. eater will stare at their phone twice over the course of any given meal, and will only have five screen-free meals per week. It’s clear from the survey’s findings that “zombie eating” is an almost universal practice in today’s culture; 91% of respondents reported watching television while eating a meal or snack, and 49% say they watch TV while eating on a regular basis.
• Facebook's Messenger Kids app flaw let users chat with strangers — Messenger Kids, launched in 2017, enables children between 6 and 12 years old to chat with family members and a list of friends pre-approved by their parents. But a “technical error” in the app meant it was possible for a child to enter a group chat with friends-of-friends who hadn’t been approved by their parents.
• Tlaib likens boycott of Israel to Nazi Germany in floor speech against resolution to condemn Jewish state boycott | Fox News — Rep. Rashida Tlaib compared the boycott movement of Israel to the American boycott of Nazi Germany on Tuesday. The Michigan Democrat, a Palestinian-American, made the remarks during a floor speech in opposition to the House resolution declaring opposition to the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

David Smith, 30, represents Coulby Newham, a suburb of Middlesbrough, in the Yorkshire town’s local government, or council. Since his arrest, he has resigned from membership in the Conservative Party, but not from his position.

• A healthy lifestyle may offset genetic risk for Alzheimer's | Deseret News — People with high genetic risk and poor health habits were about three times more likely to develop dementia versus those with low genetic risk and good habits, researchers reported Sunday. Regardless of how much genetic risk someone had, a good diet, adequate exercise, limiting alcohol and not smoking made dementia less likely.
• Facebook’s Recent Algorithm Changes Are Laying Waste To Conservative And Liberal Outlets | The Daily Caller — Conservative pundit Deneen Borelli is blaming Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg after she lost her commentary gig at the BlazeTV.  Borelli’s cancelled Facebook show comes shortly after the company dramatically changed its algorithms to de-emphasize political content.  Facebook’s changes are appear to be affecting smaller outlets and individual pundits at a greater rate than larger media entities like Fox News or NBC, according to one tech expert.

Don’t run off (forgiveness is one of those subjects that send people running to the hills)! Mention forgiving others who have wronged you and you'll hear "it's too hard, I can't forgive them... " Well, we only feel that way because we approach forgiveness as something that we must do on our own in our own strength.

Instead, see forgiveness as a heart matter. Instead of calling it “hard, difficult, impossible” look at it with fresh eyes. It's a problem that you can give to God. If you CHOOSE to forgive, and pray over the matter, leaving it with him, God is ready and willing to do this FOR us.

The free service comes after the Federal Communications Commission ruled in June that phone service providers can offer call-blocking options for customers who choose to be part of the service.
• Pelosi's isolation gambit leaves four liberals struggling - GreenwichTime — "Sometimes a leader's got to take positions to keep the team [united]," said Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y. "Families belong together. Every person in America has rights," she said. "These families are hard-working members of our communities and our country. This brutal action will terrorize children and tear families apart."
• Girl licks tongue depressor, puts it back at medical center — A social media post that shows a young girl inside in a Jacksonville medical center licking a tongue depressor and then placing it back into a jar has gone viral. The video was recorded in an exam room at the All About Kids and Families Medical Center. The medical office told News4Jax it's troubled by the video. A statement from the office said it has contacted police to request a full investigation.
